A rare collection of Swedish MCM silver inlaid isolit wares by Wilhelmina Wendt

  • PRICE UPON REQUEST.

Wilhelmina Wendt was the first woman to become a silvermith journeyman in Sweden. She developed her own artistic style using products she called 'silverisolit'; a technique in which she hand-inlaid silver into black isolating plastic that was produced at her father's factory called Skanska Attikfabriken in Perstorp, Sweden.

Identical pieces by Wilhelmina 'Tiddit' Wendt can be found in the Swedish National Music of Art and Design.
